The Heritage and resource centre is housed in the new extension to the main hall. It is home to the
Heritage group who are the custodians of the village archives which contain many items of historical
interest: Maps, pictures and documents relating to Cradley and surrounding areas which have been
brought together in this one archive. People from around the world have sought help with tracing their
roots to Cradley using this facility.
The Heritage group hold a drop in session every Thursday 2pm-4pm when anyone can call in. For more
details contact the chair of the Heritage Group on the heritage page of the site.
The resource section deals with the computers, laptops, internet access, printers and photocopiers that are
housed here for the use of the residents of the Parish. They hold drop in sessions on Mondays 10am-1pm
and Thursdays 2pm - 4pm when all are welcome to come along have a cuppa and sort out their computer
problems or get a bit of training with the tricky bits. All for free
We have a free design service and printing at very reduced rates for residents. From one off’s to hundreds
of pamphlets and leaflets-no problem
We have a small hard surfaced patio area to the rear
which is ideal for sitting out in the Summer weather
and enjoying the view over the Churchyard. Ideal to
have a barbecue or pig roast for your event.
We can supply a pop up gazeebo should the weather
not meet your expectations which covers the patio.
We can now supply a heavy duty 6m x 4m Marquee erected on the Rear Patio to give
you covered extra space for your event. There is a charge for erection and dismantling
by our operatives and also additional requirements of use. ( see conditions of use on
booking page)
The balcony has a great view over the hall and a birds eye view of the
original oak beams that support the wonerful vaulted ceiling. Has
been known to house a disco or two and also string quartets. At the
Christmas fair it becomes Santas Ice Cave
On the first floor we have a small committee meeting room
which also houses plans and documents not stored in the
archive store.
